On a very wintery day in December we headed up onto the bleak but beautiful moors of Cut Gate, a classic Peak District trail, to shoot the Solaris in its natural habitat.

It was bitterly cold, and the ground was very wet in between all the rocks but the video came out great. Proper winter adventure vibes with some stunning light.

While hardtails aren't just for winter, they do excel at this time of the year. Light and responsive on the sloppy trails, less to maintain and the sleek and elegant lines don't clog up with mud anything like a chunky full suspension bike.
