AQR Holidays is our French home-from-home, and their base in Luchon the Pyrenees provides our durability testing ground. Owned and run by Ian and Kate Potter, with added support from Russ Blake (Chef and Hotelier) and Paul Dexter and Jon Petyt for UK Skills Coaching, AQR Holidays have been with us since the start. Ian is one of our main test riders, and puts thousands of km's on our prototype frames for us. He's been instrumental in the development of the Soda and the Hemlock, running them and all the Cotic hire bike fleet of Souls and Hemlocks from his professional standard workshop at the hotel. Kate is our World Cup XC racer on the Cotic Bontrager Race Team. She moonlights as a guide these days when not chasing World Cup glory and Paul works for Cotic when he's not teaching people how to ride better. Russ cooks a mean Duck a l'Orange and also tries to break Cotic BFes in his spare time (he's not suceeded yet). As you can tell, AQR are instrumental in the success and quality of Cotic products, and with miles and miles of some of the best - yet quietest - trails in Europe an AQR Holiday is the perfect place to go and exercise your Cotic bike on your summer holidays. And if you just want to get better and throwing your bike around and getting the best out of it, Paul and Jon can help you out with a skills session in the UK every few weeks. AQR Holidays: wonderful people, fantastic guiding, support and food on your hols, and teaching you to be a better rider when you get back. They all ride Cotics too. Can't be bad!
