Back in 2022 Neko Mulally of Frameworks Racing fame asked me to design hin a steel front end for his downhill bikes. It was a dream to be asked, and through three generations of prototypes, I helped that steel DH project along.

Although never adopted for production, the bikes were stored and when Neko found out I was entering a DH race (for the first time this century!), being the absolute G that he is, he organised for one of the steel DH frames I helped design to be shipped over so I could race on a proper bike. It was an honour and a privilege, and so much fun!
