This page has a zoomable image, requiring flash to view, of the new Hemlock chainstays, which have had a massive 40% increase in lateral stiffness over the 2008 frame, and in conjunction with the new rockers, completely locks down the rear end of the bike for total handling confidence. The big torsion box brace is a major part of this performance increase, but we made sure that UK functionality wasn't sacraficed - tyre clearance remains the same (i.e. Massive!) and the torsion box is sloped to prevent mud 'shelving' on it and clogging the frame up.
