A couple of weeks ago Cy got to sit down with Chris from Downtime Podcast and talk about all things RocketMAX.

They talk through where we start from with each new project, what the drivers and constraints are, the tools we use and some of the processes applied, and a bunch of other things besides. They even chat about the front hubs Cy designed and had made when he was 17!

There is some detail about why the bike needed to change from the Gen3 frame, the variations in geometry and travel we tested, and how some of our pre-conceptions were proved wrong as we worked through the process.

Chris is Cotic Brand Ambassador and has been riding a RocketMAX Gen3 for over 2 years. Before the recording, Cy and Chris went for a quick ride on my local where he got to try the Gen4 for the first time, so he was able to share his thoughts on the leap between generations as well.
