We are big fans of what Hebtroco do. If you don't know them, it's run by our mates Brant and Ed (Brant helped me start Cotic), and they make amazing British made menswear.
They also make Bother Magazine, which is their beautiful print mag that they decided to make because they were fed up with giving so much ad budget to Facebook. You've got to admire the sentiment. We have supported Bother from Issue 1, and earlier in the year Ed told me they were making a Bother film with renowned film maker Tim Royle (White No Sugar TV).
The plan was to make a film asking "Why Bother?" to a group of makers and creatives who keep doing what they do in the UK. When they found out about the Rocket - our first 100% UK made frame - they asked if we would like to be in it. Being the big fat show off I clearly have to admit that I am, I said yes!
Seriously though, I was so chuffed to be asked and to be included in the same breath as these incredible people chronicled in this beautiful film. I saw the premier at the Hebtroco Pop Up in Manchester and it brought a tear to my eye.
So, without further ado, find yourself half an hour, grab a brew, and ask yourself, Why Bother?
