The Escapade fits into your life, for work and play. The Escapade will take you to work, to the shops, on holiday, to the hills, on adventures, or just to that quiet place where you get some headspace.

Super versatile, the Escapade is a road bike with few limitations. Disc brakes all round. Drop bars. Tyres big and floaty or small and fast. Derailleur gears, hub gears, single gear. Mudguards, panniers, bottle cages.

Strip it all down and speed into the City. Load it all up and head off into the hills. Where will your Escapade take you?

We now have a Factory Collection option on the bikes. Come down to our base in the heart of the Peak District, and we will set up your bike, the suspension, fit pedals, get you all comfortable. You can even take your new Cotic out on it's maiden voyage around our demo loop, straight from our workshop door. Just put a note on your order to Factory Collect and we will look forward to seeing you.

• Custom butted Cotic Fe Cromoly frame with Ovalform top tube. Tough, durable, clean, graceful.
• A mount for everything: Racks, mudguards, bottles, discs.
• Cotic RB3 fork: Cromoly tapered legs, lovely clean disc only look, mudguard eyelets, with 9mm thru axle for stiffness and security wheel. Massive clearance for up to 700x47 or 29x1.7" tyres.
• Super versatile Dogsbody2 dropouts with solid mech hanger and chainstay disc mount means a bit of what you fancy. Gears, discs, SS, hub gear, fixed, whatever.
• Huge tyre clearance on 700c wheels. Big road or cyclo-cross tyres (up to 46c/1.8"), or how about 29 x 1.75" MTB tyres for the ultimate green lane cruiser?
• 68mm threaded BB shell with clearance for pretty much any chainset you like. Only super narrow track setups won't fit. Single, Road Standard or Compact, Triple, all good on the Escapade.
• Confident geometry and handling with semi-compact frame layout.

All our bikes are hand assembled to order here in Sheffield by Paul, Cy or Richard. If there's anything on the spec you're not sure about, or don't need, give us a ring to discuss. We'd much rather leave something off you don't need and charge you a bit less than waste a perfectly good part you'll not use when we can put it on someone elses bike. Better for you, better for us, less waste, so better for everyone.

The chart is a guide to frame size for the new Escapade:  Ultra Compact Geometry - Road  means that the frames are low and long. You'll probably need a 350mm seatpost due to the compact sizing. Note, the sloping top tube design needs to be taken into account if you're comparing seat tube size with other bikes.
