Jeht is the physical manifestation of your most primal mountain bike moments. A 150mm travel, dedicated mixed-wheel (mullet) platform built to carve through a corner and feel the edge knobs bite. "Stand tall" poise and high-grip confidence creates a machine that ignores the polite conventions of "all-rounder" bikes in favour of something much more visceral.
We have drawn the Rocket e-MTB bred Rocklink suspension into a lighter, more supple, pure pedal frame. Muscular Reynolds 853 steel frame engagement born from decades of sophisticated engineering evolution. Gravity angles and authority but still alive through the pedals. Surgically precise on tech, yet wonderfully supple on the long haul. Grabbing grip not brakes. Breeding speed and carving every corner into your memory with exquisite artistry.
Jeht is agile in a way that turns every trail into a playground, yet poised enough to be your charismatic best friend on a big day in the mountains. Distinctive, engaging, and ready for whatever the trail throws at you.
The Ride
The Jeht has an incredibly confident, "front-and-centre" feel on the trail. The evolution of our legendary Longshot geometry balances you perfectly, and keeps the front end gripped. This isn't a monstertruck that numbs the trail; it’s a rally car that rewards every input. Rocklink suspension satisfies your need for speed whilst providing the technical control and safety of a perfectly tuned kinematic.
The mixed wheel setup is the heart of the experience. The 29" front wheel provides the poise and roll-over to commit to the line, while the 27.5" rear wheel allows you to snap the bike through tight sections with a level of freedom a full 29er simply can't match. Combined with the signature compliance of the Cotic steel front triangle, you get a ride that filters out the fatigue but amplifies the fun.
All those turns have to be earned, and thanks to the efficiency of the Rocklink kinematic and our refined Longshot geometry, it climbs with a level of poise that makes the transition back to the top feel like a breather, not a chore.
The new layout also brings essential practicality to big days out; the Rocklink configuration opens up the front triangle for dedicated water bottle and tool storage. It’s a bike built for the long haul, ensuring you have everything you need to stay out until the light fades.
Why The Jeht Makes Sense
Built On Experience
The Jeht is the most focused, interactive mid-travel bike Cotic has ever built. It represents a shift in our philosophy, taking the lessons of "stand tall" geometry from our e-bike development and applying them to a high-performance analogue bike. Reynolds 853, the Rocklink suspension system, and over twenty years of Sheffield-born engineering. Built to go head-to-head with the most serious bikes on the mountain while keeping playing the trail as the priority.
Your Jeht is built to order, exactly the way you want it. Choose the Trail build for all-day adventures or the Enduro build for gravity-focused durability. Find out how below.

Are you in the UK and would like to demo a Cotic Jeht? Contact us via our Demo Page to organise a demo ride with us. We have an amazing loop right from our door at HQ in Chesterfield, and we're open for demo every weekday. We're also at a few events through the year too.
Jeht Gen 3 new features
Cy, our Founder and frame designer, writes....
This section is almost a 'what haven't we changed'. The new Jeht shares the top and down tubes with the Gen 2 as they perfectly balanced ride feel and strength. The proven droplink main and seat tube pivots are retained because we've been using them trouble free for over a decade. If it ain't broke..... Everything else is new, with the aim of retaining the easy going all rounder nature of the previous bike, and dialing in some added capability and charisma. But how did we get here?
Anyone who has seen me at an event or asked me recently will know I am completely obsessed with how great the Rocket handles. The refinements to the geometry we made just gives it outstanding cornering and handling.
The new Jeht is the answer to my question "I wonder if this amazing handling on my Rocket translates to a regular bike?" The answer is yes! I have never ridden a bike that gives me so much confidence and feel when cornering. It just feels amazing when changing direction. The new Jeht takes the soul of the Rocket into a lighter, more supple, human powered package.
The Jeht Gen 3 lifts the Rocklink suspension layout from the Rocket and blends it with a lighter front triangle and a dedicated pedalling kinematic. We’ve poured decades of Droplink experience into this to ensure it still climbs with the traction rich composure you expect, backed up with the supportive, progressive feel our bikes are renowned for.
Whilst Rocklink looks very different to our Droplink bikes, the physics are based firmly on what we know works. We originally developed this layout for the Rocket to clear the down-tube battery, but the secondary benefits for a trail bike were too good to ignore. By moving the shock, we’ve opened up the front triangle to fit a large water bottle and tool mounts on every single frame size. It’s a massive win for usability on those big, "packless" days out.
Jeht Gen 3 Spec Points
The Mullet Question
The most visible change after Rocklink is the move to a dedicated mullet setup (29" front, 27.5" rear). If I’m honest, deciding not to offer a full 29er version was a big call, but the Rocket’s "secret sauce" proved that this wheel configuration is essential to the handling magic.
The confidence to go for it came from you; we noticed about half of RocketMAX owners and a good chunk of Jeht riders were already moving to mullet setups via the optional angleset. But rather than using "flip-chips" or bolt-on compromises, we’ve committed to the 27.5" rear wheel with dedicated geometry. You're never left wondering if you're in the right BB setting, it offers better clearance for shorter riders in steep, techy terrain and a level of agility that a full 29er simply can't match. It isn't a bike park hooligan; it’s just the most fun, balanced trail bike I’ve ever ridden.
The New Range Logic
The Jeht has always been our all rounder bike. The one for the local woods, the big weekend epic, and the occasional trip to the mountains. While the Gen 3 looks different, its heart remains the same.
In case you're wondering where this fits in the shed: The Jeht Gen 3 replaces both the Jeht Gen 2 and the RocketMAX Gen 4. The longer travel of this iteration combined with up to 160mm fork compatibility bring some of that RocketMAX flat out capability, whilst the sheer agility of the new bike keeps that lovely 'snicking down singletrack' feel for when you're just having a quick spin in the local woods.
The new Jeht is a wonderfully easy-going companion on long days out that won't blink when the trail turns steep and technical.
A Mountain Bike, you might say.

The chart is a guide to frame size. Longshot Geometry means that the frames are low and long, with plenty of standover room. We recommend going for the size suggested for your height on the chart, and getting all the benefits of running a super short and responsive 35-40mm stem. It's a game changer.
Our new Cotic "C" Sizing tightens the gaps between sizing, and give you more options to size up or down as you wish.
Make sure you consider your leg length as well. If you upsize you might not be able to fit a longer dropper post due to the collar hitting the seat tube top or the dropper post bottoming out on the seat tube droplink pivot. Maximum seatpost insertion for calculating dropper post options is on the chart.

We don't develop our bikes around a specific fork offset, we find that it's simply a preference down to the individual rider. However, we prefer shorter offsets in the 42-44mm range and that's what we spec. If you'd like to learn more about this, Click Here
If you are unsure about that or anything else, drop us a line at size@cotic.co.uk and we'll be happy to discuss set up based on what you're riding at the moment and what seatpost you are planning to use.

The Jeht Gen 3 is 100% UK made. The front triangle and seatstays are made by Five Land Bikes in Scotland. The swingarm is made by Coal Industries in Nottinghamshire. All the CNC parts are made by Rotosteel and Bear Frame Supplies. The bespoke Cotic 3D printed parts are from 76 Projects. It's all assembled right here on the edge of the Peak District by our dedicated team of mechanics.

Radical Longshot geometry keeps the bike stable through the rough stuff, planted in the corners and pinpoint accurate in the steep tech. Couple a super short 35mm stem to the optimised head angle and the bike really pushes you on, looking for every stump to boost off, rock to gap and berm to rail, keeping you connected to the trail while maintaining incredible poise and composure.
Our new Cotic "C" Sizing tightens the gaps between sizing, and give you more options to size up or down as you wish.

Reynolds 853 builds a light, lively and fantastically robust front end, and includes our custom ride tuned Ovalform top tube, and super stiff, Cotic exclusive HD seat tube.
The seatstays are made from motorsport spec T45 roll cage tubing to perfectly balance the stiffness requirements for a mountain bike.
The swingarm is 6082-T6 aluminium for great power transmission. 100% UK sourced and made.
The Jeht Gen3 is dedicated mixed wheel/mullet setup (29 front/27.5 rear) for positive turn in and improved cornering. The smaller rear wheel is also intrinsically lighter, stiffer and a little more robust.
Cotic rocklink is a development of our tried, tested and honed droplink suspension system we have used for over a decade. Supportive and progressive, keeping the 150mm travel Jeht feeling lively and interactive, with grip to spare on the descents, support and traction on the climbs.
All Cotic bikes are assembled in the UK from and frame up. We have set specifications, but these are just the start. Want the Silver spec bike with tubeless tyres? Easy! Want a 38 instead of Zeb on your Rocket? It's there too. Extra battery for swap in for big days? Brilliant idea! Full colour matched Hope parts, and add the matching brakes too? It's a click away, and everything else in between. If it's not a choice on the order form, just ask.
When you contact us you are talking to the people who design the frames and will be building your bike. We check it and build and pack it in our award winning bike boxes with the same care we would our own bike, because we know how important it is. We build your bike, for you.
Like the specs of the Jeht, but are interested in an ebike? You need a Rocket.

Cotic frames are designed, developed, engineered and tested entirely by us at our base in the Peak District, near Sheffield in the UK. Our founder - Cy Turner - is the lead designer and engineer, and our frames are rigorously ride tested by everyone at Cotic and chosen test riders and ambassadors. They are fully certified and lab tested in excess of the requirements of ISO4210 safety standards.
For the ebike 100% of the frame is made and sourced in the UK. The skilled guys at Five Land Bikes in Scotland manufacture the Reynolds 853/T45 front triangles and seatstays in small batches, to their exacting standards. Coal Industries fabricate the bespoke Cotic aluminium swingarm using parts CNC'd by Rideworks. Almost every single frame part, components, nut and bolt is sourced and produced in the UK for the ebike.
All the major steel parts of the frame are dip coated in manganese phosphate to prevent corrosion, before being painted using tough and durable automotive spec paint by the Five Land guys, or A La Carte custom colour by Black Cat Custom Paints. After they have completed their painstaking hand finishing process and their rigorous QC, the frame parts undergo further checking by us before assembly in the workshop at our HQ.
As a final added extra, all our made in Britain frames are Datatag'd from the factory. You will receive all your Datatag documents with your frame or bike when it's delivered.
As always, all complete bikes are built to order by us here at Cotic, to the exact spec of your choice. We build your bike for you.
